GRAPHIC DESIGN PROGRAMME

The Graphic Design study programme places strong emphasis on visual communication and its broad impact on the user.

During the three-year studies, students explore various fields of graphic design, including publishing, branding, identity design, packaging, typography and type design, advertising, interactive graphics, digital publishing, and photography.

The programme covers both traditional print design and contemporary fields such as game graphics, infographics, vignette illustration, film/TV/series title sequences, exhibition design, and social design.

Students also learn research methods that support the development of innovative and socially responsible graphic communication projects. They are encouraged to apply creative thinking and develop projects holistically — from initial idea and strategy through to the final visual communication outcome.

Market analysis shows that a strong graphic design professional is not only skilled in design software but is also capable of developing innovative concepts and managing the entire creative process, from strategy to the final visual solution.

Full-time study mode: 3 years, 180 ECTS. Studies are conducted in Lithuanian.
Part-time study mode: 4 years, 180 ECTS. Studies are conducted in Lithuanian.

Regardless of the study mode, programme requirements remain the same, and the awarded qualification degree is equivalent.
