The Business Process Automation specialization focuses on improving organizational efficiency by implementing automated solutions in ERP, CRM, and RPA environments. During the studies, students learn to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and develop solutions that combine programming, systems integration, and business analytics.

Strong emphasis is placed on hands-on work with Microsoft Power Automate, low-code platforms, and AI tools increasingly used across small and medium-sized businesses. This specialization prepares versatile professionals capable of working at the intersection of IT and business, supporting organizations in their digital transformation.

Core subjects of the Smart Technology Industry Bachelor’s programme

Fundamentals of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming, Programming with Python, Databases, Computer and Communication Systems Architecture, Software Systems Engineering, Testing Techniques and Fundamentals of Automated Testing, Cloud Technologies, IT Project Management and Professional Ethics, Professional Practice and Final Thesis.

Business Process Automation specialization modules

The specialization modules focus on designing and implementing practical automation solutions within organizations. During the studies, students learn to design and build automated business processes by analyzing organizational workflows and applying process modeling methods.

Strong attention is given to working with Microsoft Power Automate to create automated workflows and integrate different information systems. The programme also explores the use of artificial intelligence in business processes and low-code technologies that enable rapid prototyping and testing of automation solutions in real business environments.

For Informatics Sciences programmes, the competitive score is calculated from Mathematics (50%), one of the following subjects — Informatics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, or Engineering Technologies (25%) — and English language (25%).

For Non-European students, the price for one semester is 2250 Eur.

There are 6 semesters in total (3 years).

This specialisation is part of the Professional Bachelor’s degree in Smart Technology Industry. Studies are organised in modular blocks with a strong focus on hands-on skills, project-based learning, and real-world problem solving. 

Students enrol in the Smart Technology Industry degree programme and develop expertise within their chosen specialisation. Where justified by academic progress or career direction, it is possible to transfer to another specialization within the Smart Technology Industry programme, subject to academic requirements.
