AI specialization

Design and apply AI solutions based on data, machine learning, and large language models.

Artificial Intelligence specialization

The Artificial Intelligence specialisation focuses on the development and application of advanced data-driven solutions across various sectors. During the studies, students gain practical skills working with machine learning methods, neural networks, and natural language processing solutions.

Strong emphasis is placed on integrating AI into real systems and processes, using programming, analytics, and cloud technologies. The specialisation prepares professionals capable of both developing AI solutions and implementing and maintaining them within organisations.

Core Smart Technology Industry Bachelor subjects

Programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming, Python programming, databases, computer and communication systems architecture, software systems engineering, testing techniques and automated testing fundamentals, cloud technologies, IT project management and professional ethics, professional practice placements, and final thesis.

Artificial Intelligence specialisation subjects

The Artificial Intelligence modules include practical work with AI technologies and their application in information systems. Students learn how to use Python and REST for developing and integrating AI solutions, work with large language models and apply them to real-world tasks.

They are introduced to OpenAI tools and cloud-based AI platforms, and learn how to design, test, and deploy intelligent solutions based on data analytics and automated decision-making. The modules are strongly practice-oriented and designed to enable students to apply AI in real business and technology projects.

This specialisation is part of the Professional Bachelor’s degree in Smart Technology Industry. Studies are organised in modular blocks with a strong focus on hands-on skills, project-based learning, and real-world problem solving.

Students enrol in the Smart Technology Industry degree programme and develop expertise within their chosen specialisation. Where justified by academic progress or career direction, it is possible to transfer to another specialization within the Smart Technology Industry programme, subject to academic requirements.

For Non-European students, the price for one semester is 2250 Eur.

There are 6 semesters in total (3 years).

For Informatics Sciences programmes, the competitive score is calculated from Mathematics (50%), one of the following subjects — Informatics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, or Engineering Technologies (25%) — and English language (25%).
